The westerly trail head is located in historic downtown Mazomanie, at the eastern end of Crescent Street. The trail runs alongside the recently restored lower Black Earth Creek to the Wisconsin Heights Schools campus on US Highway 14. The easterly trail head is at the south parking lot of Wisconsin Heights High School accessible from Olson Road.
